Item A: Basic Ranger Knapsack
This is a simple large single compartment knapsack made for the Ranging Service. Straps are non-adjustable canvas. Finished Size is about 18" High, 16" Wide, the side Gussets at top are 2-1/2" and 5" at the bottom. Standard model is available in canvas at $45.00. Leather straps available at $15.00 extra.
We continued our march till the 5th day of May, when I arrived with 9 men at Lake Champlain, four miles south of Crown Point, here we concealed our packs - p. 16 Rogers Journals.

Item B: British Issue Double Bag
This pack comes with standard adjustable leather straps. This Historically Correct Knapsack will carry a full compliment of clothing and equipment for all your future campaigns. Pewter buttons and Brass hardware used throughout. Total length open- 33", width- 18-1/2" available in canvas only. Price $115.00.

Item C: '76 Style New Invented Knapsack
This was the oack carried by the troops of the Continental Line during the American War for Independence. Pack is divided into two sections. Finished size is 26" X 21". Available in canvas only. See Sketchbook '76, p. 29. With leather strap, standard price- $80.00.

Item E: Converted Haversack / Knapsack
This pack started out as a haversack and has cloth sewn straps to wear the pack centered on the back. The Deluxe style has a leather cradle on the outside bottom and on the inside flap, fully adjustable leather straps also. Finished size is 15" X 15" available in canvas ir Fustian for $40.00 for Standard. Deluxe style is $65, for Linen add $20.00.

Item K: French Knapsack
This pack is documented as being issued to the French Troops at Louisburgh in 1747. Standard size is 32" wide, and 50" in length. A 2-3/4" wide leather strap is secured in the middle of the bag. Comes with a 15" X 15" accessory 'catch all bag.' Available in canvas- $70.00 or Linen for $95.00. See page 118-119 of La Marine
